This exhibition will examine how zoomorphic robots are created, promoted, imagined and brought into public settings, and how people respond to these creatures. It will feature artworks and interactive exhibits that invite visitors to consider how they feel about and imagine the futures of these robots as part of everyday lives: whether for care, entertainment, companionship or
therapy.
Key questions explored by the exhibition:
- How have animal robots entered popular culture and everyday life?
- What do we like about animal robots?
- What do we find creepy or discomforting?
- What can help us live better together with animal robots
